Pros

Learning is relatively better than other companies but only for freshers because they work for 15 hours daily. There are quite a few fun activities in cafeteria but you normally don't get enough time to enjoy.

Cons

Managers are bosses here. They can do whatever you want. No HR Policies being followed. The policies are just written in their portal but never followed.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a feedback. I am sorry to see that you have such an impression of the company. But let me assure you that this impression is not representative of what actually happens. I get a monthly report of time spent in office and yes there are always some projects who are working extra hours, but at a given time it is less than 5% of the people. Our average hours spent in office overall is less than 9 hours a day. Also, I actually often get feedback from 'managers' that they cannot do enough. Our HR system is designed in a way that a manager can only influence so much for a team member, and HR comes in play for the necessary checks and balances. For instance, this week itself we had one request from an employee who needed flexibility in working hours for a few weeks due to logistical constraints at home. Her manager denied it, but the HR team worked with the manager to make it happen. If in your project or group you think that the manager is being unfair, you should always be able to talk to HR or your manager's manager. And our flat hierarchy allows this. So, no, managers cannot do whatever they want. If you are seeing an example that is otherwise, you should definitely reach out to HR or me directly to discuss this. In summary, Nagarro is overall very different from what your experience has been so far. I would love to meet you to show you more.

Thank you for your review. I have to unfortunately disagree with several points that you have made in the cons section. First of all, there is no management bias - how can there be? Don't we need QAs to run our business - if yes, then we will likely take equal care of them; and we do. There is a dedicated COE for quality assurance led by a VP and a Director. We are looking for very senior folks to hire in the QA track so that we can make it formidable independent practice. We get a lot of questions about pay scales for QAs. I looked at our hiring data for QA in the last 12 months. We pay significantly above the current pay scales for people we hire in order to align with what our pay scale for QA is. I don't think we do too badly in this area at all. At the same time, we sometimes are driven by the needs of the industry, and so variations in pay scales or onsite opportunities are things that are driven by external factors. While sometimes it may not seem like it, HR at Nagarro is looking out for employees much more than business units and managers. Some of our key structures are designed to allow this to happen. But, if you have faced a situation differently, then I would like to meet you to understand what happened better. Yes, we don't have free cabs and meals (they are subsidized though). I don't think we are ruining anyone's career at all. In fact, Nagarro is probably the best services company to be in at this time. We are growing tremendously and with this growth comes a lot of opportunity. I recommend that you reach out to me if you would like to have an open discussion and I will be happy to meet you. Once again, thank you for your time.

Pros

1)Salary 2)Increment 3)Top management specially Manas 4)Good company for unmarried professional.

Cons

This is one of the worst company in my career which spans around 10 years. In nagarro challenges means spending 13-14 hours in office, coming in weekends and do whatever to full-fill unrealistic deadlines . Here agility means doing 200 days work in 100 days. Most of the firms spend two-three months in designing framework to cater complex project but here framework is given least importance. Home grown managers does not have experience in managing big and complex project. No respect for senior professionals. They are being humiliated . Some 3-4 years experience guys will monitor their work . Managements always look for quick fix rather then permanent solution. There is one director who loves to see the project in distress,it gives him opportunity to showcase his talent in dousing the fire and become hero. But he is the one who is responsible for all mess up but no one cares since nagarro have fire-fighters. Forget about mentors-hip they will make you feel that you are good for nothing. A big question mark how this company got CMM level 5....... Dream company for Fire-Fighters.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. It is unfortunate that you had to leave us with such an impression of us. I agree that we have some of the best people in the senior management team. There are many other pros of course. However, let me respond to some of the areas that you feel we can do better in. While we do have a culture where we like to work hard, on average we do not have such working hours that you describe in your review. Yes, there may be projects which run into timeline challenges, but this is not the norm. On average (when I look at the data for time spent in office), people are not spending more than 40-50 hours in office. I do believe that in our industry (which is fast paced and ever-changing), we shouldn't measure the health of our employment in 2-3 month intervals. There will always be challenges and tough projects. I believe that we should measure this health over 1-2 year periods. Your experience with us was poor, and I am sorry for that. But once again, that is not the norm. I wish you had given us more time. The percentage of our "homegrown" managers is really low. Over 50% of the people in Nagarro are less than 5 years old in the company. We recognize that if we are to grow and do bigger things, we need help from people who have done this - and hence we recruit heavily at senior levels from outside. We are on our way to be something special and big. And yes, for this we have to restructure our processes and reinvent ourselves (as you suggest) - and we are doing that. We do want to make life easier for all. Once again, thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. It does help us.
