Pros

Flexible work schedule, Some interesting work

Cons

The work culture is awful. There's almost no transparency into future work. This campus does not get the recognition others do, likely due to the fact that no VP's want anything to do with it. Compensation for performance is extremely weak.

Northrop Grumman Response

Hi there, we appreciate you taking a moment to leave a review. I would encourage you to have a dialogue with your manager to ensure they are aware of your frustrations. If you are not comfortable discussing your frustrations with your manager, then don’t hesitate to reach out to your Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) or call our toll free Open Line. The culture you describe is not characteristic of our company -- if our culture were as damaged as you imply, our long record of sustained achievement could never be maintained. We're working very hard every day to make our company a better place for all our employees and we regret that your experience right now is not as it should be. It sounds as if you have reached a point where you are feeling frustrated with your current project/team. I would encourage you to look for growth opportunities by visiting our careers site (www.northropgrumman.com/careers) and applying for an internal transfer to get the fresh perspective that may help in your career.

Pros

Flexible work hours (9/80), Business Casual work environment, 401K matching. The people you will work with are helpful and support each other; first level managers at least give you the time of day now, they're just as hand-tied as you are.

Cons

Bonuses were taken away, lost another paid holiday (down to 10/yr), benefits have slipped significantly, work environment is not conducive to getting quality work done. Upper management is satisfied with mediocrity and does not single out those who go out of their way to overcome obstacles and turn out great work. You can expect to remain at your current level for 5-10 years without any prospect of moving up.
