Initially I was excited to join the Northrop team. I had always heard that it was a great company to work for. Things did not turn out that way. First of all, it took me four weeks just to get a permanent badge. Second, I never got the federally regulated "reasonable accommodations" for my disability that I was promised upon completing the on-boarding application. Third, I never even got a chance to do any real work because I never received my classified computer. In the end, I was let go after five weeks because management deemed that I "seemed uninterested in the role" and apparently also thought I was looking for another job -- neither of which was true. They brought me into a small room and had the recruiter that hired me do the firing (temp-to-hire agency). They did not relay any concerns to me directly or speak to me about any problems they may have had beforehand, i.e. a warning. I feel completely blind-sided and that I never even had a chance, even though I never did anything wrong.
