Pros

Interesting work. Lots of room for advancement. Pay and benefits good. Ability to transfer to other NG facilities. Great lunchroom.

Cons

Huge 1 million square foot building with no windows and locked doors everywhere. If you are hourly you better bring a lunch because you get 30 min to eat. It will probably take 5 min just to get to the lunchroom. If you order food thats another 5-10min. Eat fast so you can clock back in on your computer within 30. Engineer's and scientist's are treated much better. Lots of chronyism and nepotism. Don't say to anyone in the hallways they will just stare at the floor and keep walking.

Thank you for your comments. We are sure that employees at this facility recognize that the very sensitive nature of the work that we do there, plus the wide range of development, manufacturing, and testing activities underway in all parts of the campus, does not always allow for us to provide as many windows or open spaces as we would like. However, we're continuing to upgrade and improve common spaces to make our facilities more energy efficient, safe, and comfortable for our employees, and you should see positive developments in the near future. Please take advantage of your local all-hands meetings, focus groups, roundtable discussions, employee engagement projects, and employee resource groups to share your concerns and suggestions for constructive change and improvement. Your local human resources and management personnel are there to listen and provide opportunities to improve the workplace and culture.

Pros

Used to be a great place but the new performance system is horrible.

Cons

Used to be a great place but the new performance system is horrible. There is a quota on number of top, above average, average etc. managers don't have ability to rate on performance.

Pros

Cool Technology, You work on and produce military products. The new technology is exciting and challenging. Thats of course when actual development was being performed and over the years this opportunity has dwindled away.

Cons

You are not cared about as an individual. Management will move you around without notice and since the business is declining, there is little to no opportunity to advance in your career. You will not be rewarded for doing your job.

It's unfortunate to hear you didn't find the opportunities you were looking for. We appreciate when former employees share their experiences and we're glad that you found your work exciting and challenging.
