Pros

If you are interested in speech recognition, this is the place to be.

Cons

Extremely poor senior management, who look out only for themselves. Nothing gets done unless it is an emergency. Very demoralized staff. Unethincal senior management. Yearly restrucuring and quarterly layoffs.

Pros

Pockets of good people, intelligent and hard-working. Tight control of expenses. Excellent technologies and strong expectations for future innovations.

Cons

HR department has too much influence. Lots of lip-service about valuing employees, but not much truth to it. Morale is low in some circles. Line managers are functionaries with no real management power, no budgets for example. Most innovation is non-organic: new companies are acquired but never absorbed. Leaders of acquired companies get sweetheart deals to lead organizations, existing organizations always readjusting to the new leadership.
