Pros

I've just given my 2-week notice.

Cons

No leadership, very weak and incompetent upper mgmt, micromanagement by "operations teams" that have no field experience, terrible wages, no career growth path, lack of training, lack of respect for experience and expertise, very dismissive, and the list goes on and on.

Pros

The people at the front lines are dedicated to success of the company, but are not empowered nor enabled to do so.

Cons

mid-level management is unhelpful, upper-level management is not committed to success. Too much time and money spent on politics.

Pros

They are successful by becoming the biggest player in a few very cutting edge technologies.

Cons

Management underachieves when tasked with generating real value from their R&D and acquisitions. Way too many stovepipes, and the politics of how things are managed makes it difficult to be 100% productive.
