Pros

Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k (partial matching). Employees worth keeping will be retained

Cons

Read the following understanding that I was at TouchCommerce Inc for 4 years prior to being bought out by Nuance for which I stayed 2 years. The company I worked for was bought out by Nuance. Prior to the buyout, the company was mid-sized, goal-centric, cultural, and had great career opportunity. Post buyout, the company became apart of a much larger corporation, Nuance. Goals, culture, and employee value were completely lacking resulting in employee dissatisfaction. There was a high turnover rate. New employees seemed to enjoy the atmosphere.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We are definitely going through a transition period but our new CEO has us focusing on many of the things that you have outlined- improved, transparent communication, breaking down the silo’s and providing people with more opportunities to move internally. We are happy to report that as we closed out our fiscal year 19% of our positions were filled with internal candidates. We also have implemented multiple channels and resources for you to provide feedback and take feedback very seriously. We will continue to focus on ensuring that we take the right actions to improve in the areas that you have highlighted.

Pros

Supervisor very helpful and available.

Cons

Years of service mean nothing to Nuance. You are expendable. On one of there MANY lay off calls they stated that they kept me because I "showed" up for work and was consistently a great MT. Now that has changed because of their grid I finally started making some $$ and now it is time to let me go.

Pros

Working from home allows for good work/life Flexibility. Benefits.

Cons

Reactive. Terrible communication. No employee empowerment. Management can not manage staff or operations to support staff as they are fully occupied by responding to requests from their own managers, usually for rehashing data (because there is no central forecasting database) . No transparency.
