TouchCommerce will take your career into a downward spiral

Pros

There is an onsite gym, but it smells nasty and has old equipment that few employees use.

Cons

The recent acquisition by Nuance has only solidified TouchCommerce's reputation for being a horrible company to work for. The pitiful benefits that existed prior to the acquisition have only worsened and many employees continue to question how much more mediocre the company can become. Lack of communication and cooperation between departments continues to be a serious issue. Anyone who's thinking about joining this awful place should think twice before they resign themselves into taking a huge step back in their professional career.

Pros

Good Benefits. Pay was always received on time.

Cons

The pros listed are it. I have never worked for a company so out to make sure we did not succeed. I am an experienced and talented MLS and was making less than I made when I was in my 20s at an entry-level hospital job. Transcription is difficult and very tedious; you have to have a strong knowledge base to do this work We should be paid for that and this is not the case. Why pay us what we are worth when they can ship the work overseas to India and save $$ so CEOs can line their pockets. So sad this industry has not had any regulation in that area.
