Pros

Helping others, working at home.

Cons

Salary differences ranged wildly, unrealistic goals given without any chance of a raise, management ranged from very very good to very very bad. We lost all of our leave time on last buyout and you weren't allowed to use new leave accrued. The phone never stopped ringing due to various managers needing help. I was a trainer, work router, team leader, worked on account specifics, projects from managers such as flow charts and other management functions, QA, QC, all while managing 119 accounts on 6 computers. When I retired, not ONE manager even bothered to say goodbye. I was also charged with reviewing offshore reports before being released to the facility and even though I would tell them the reports were very bad, they wanted them released anyway.

Pros

great location, 4 weeks vacation, 2 weeks sick days, decent health benefits

Cons

no opportunity for advancement, UNLESS you are friend with the manager. incompetent people are getting promoted all the time, and it's always the same people getting promoted. team lead's job is going to meetings and schedule tasks, no need for any technical skill but is getting the big paycheck and big title. this is more a project administrator job in other companies. a lot of finger pointing and backstabbing, that's the only way to move up the ladder. don't trust your coworkers, a lot of policing in the company
