      Pros

      I was with Optym for a short time and I’ve never felt more at home with another company. I came from a completely different industry and thanks to how welcoming and helpful everyone was, took no time to adjust. The people make this company fantastic and the company is headed in an upward direction. The opportunities to present ideas and ask questions are endless. The company fosters growth, acceptance, and improvement.

      Pros

      Due to the small team sizes and rapidly growing nature of this company, the learning curve is really steep and you get to take over different roles in a short span of time. This helps you learn and understand your career path and what things you need to focus on. The culture is one of the best if you want to focus on learning and growing in your professional career.

      Cons

      The company lacks exposure, mainly due to its size and location, Gainesville. There are very few opportunities to meet and collaborate with tech professionals from other companies like one would get in the bay area.

      Pros

      - Learning: doing cutting edge, challenging and interesting projects here at Optym. So, lots of opportunities to learn and grow. Of course it depends on you: show your interest and the management will gladly help you to grow. - People: very friendly folks. They do their best to support you in learning and accomplishing your tasks. Full support from team members. - Management: Optym is going through some changes which might be painful, but management is doing their best to support the employees and provide a friendly and prosperous work environment. - Working area: very clean and neatly designed buildings, cafe and cubicles. - Benefits: they offer very good health care packages and their 401K match is really good.

      Cons

      Gainesville is a small city and probably not the best place to grow your business. Makes it hard to attract talents as well.
