Pros

Health insurance is as good as it gets. Market presence. Brand recognition.

Cons

Oracle has set up a culture in which you are competing internally against other teams within the organization for the same business. There is a lot of back channel underhandedness that goes on behind the scenes. There's very little collaboration and the customers needs are generally very low on the totem pole. You will get screwed out of your commission on a very regular basis as they would prefer to fight you in arbitration than pay you what you've earned. Don't take my word for it, search it up and find out for yourself.

Pros

Oracle has great solutions and really smart people. They do pay well if you sell.

Cons

The sales organization has serious problems, unorganized and constantly changing territories and accounts, almost on a whim. They have created a 'shark tank' culture (despite what they say publicly). It's a particularly challenging environment for men past the age of 45.
