The entry salary will stick with you no matter if the market salary changes. New employees may earn double than you. The management is useless, Oracle would work the same with less then half the number of current managers. Working for Oracle you get the feeling that the management just doesn't care. It's a rigid company with high prices. It doesn't care for employees or customers, all they care is world domination. Most important is that you get specialized in a very narrow niche and you lose the big picture. When you want to leave you may find that your skills are not marketable.

Salary structure, no bonuses, no raises, lacks vision. Old technology is not very flexible. Lacks training on new product integration. Upper management does not agree on the direction of the company. Stock never moves despite awesome performance and fans in every quarter.
