Pros

A lot of ownership, responsibility, and growth opportunities in your work. You will have a wide variety of experiences and you get the switch roles every 18-24 months.

Cons

Although it is a 9-5 job you will likely have seasons where you will work 60+ hours. This is not required but for you to advance you have to put in extra hours.

Pros

World class training from very seasoned employees and management.

Cons

If you hire in now you will not get one tenth of the long term value that older employees received during their career. Profit sharing is now capped very low compared to the glory days everyone talks about. This is why all the young talent doesn't stick around. And they refuse to fix the value equation.

Pros

-Good on resume -Ok pay for being in Ohio

Cons

-The worst onboarding experience most of my colleagues and myself have ever had -A ton of pointless politics -Little to no benefits for 0-3yr hires (outdated idea of only "promoting from within"--as if this new generation cares about employer loyalty for their entire career... most of my 0-3yr peers have been planning out their exit plan to leave the company)
