- Great history and brands - Employees are generally proud of the company - People generally want to do well and win in the marketplace - Leaders have strong values

- Incentive structure is backwards (very beneficial for tenured employees, less for newer employees) - Risk averse culture - Slow and internally focused

Pay, benefits, networking, stable, lots of locations and industries, lots of training

Cons

slow, risk-averse, experience valued over results, centrally biased (to the point that working in a de-centralized manufacturing facility is like working for a different company), certain-function biased, not open minded and in some ways cult-like
