Pros

Very supportive of Employees Strong focus on communication of objectives Very focused on having standards and processes defined Very clear career path and talent development

Cons

-Tendency to have too many "cooks", it's important to get consensus, but sometimes it can get bureaucratic. Sometimes too rigid in following standardization. When you get as big as P&G, too much differentiation gets costly.

Some very talented people and very well developed systems. Compensation for long term employees was very good due to profit sharing program. Very Large orgniazation with a lot of resources. Good Lean Manufactuing Implementation (but poor culture)

Cons

Poor professional development. Company doesn't encourage it or pay for it. Very severe problems with burueacracy. Slavish devotion to obsolsete burueacratic systems Not invented here Resistance to change or outside influence.

Heavy workload often jeopardizes employess work-life balance. Fierce competition in Marketing for a promotion due to very high standards in terms of performance
