Pros

A diverse environment with many opportunities given the diversity of the business. One can work from Pampers at one end to Fragrances on the other

Cons

Big company with many red tape. Currently many do not leave the company for other opportunities since it is a secure job, progression is a lot harder

Pros

- Strong company history - Well respected in the business community - Recognized brands - Lots of responsibility given the size of the business - Strong functional excellence in all areas, such as marketing, consumer research, product supply, and R&D - Respectable pay, especially when considering the low cost of living in Cincinnati, OH

Cons

- Very limited career advancement opportunities - Longer career progression timelines than in years past - Lots of bureaucracy - Cumbersome and slow work processes - Primary location is in Cincinnati, OH - Training is more based more on legacy P&G work processes and less on rigorous academic thought - Potential for taking international assignments is impossible until much later in your career
