Pros

Working with some very large companies on large IT implementation projects, this has given me the opportunity to work with some very influential people, CFO's of FTSE100 for example. A great place to add real value to your skillset, both with soft skills and technical skills. The firm is really growing in the technology consulting area, ERP and RPA is a big growth area so it is exciting to be part of a growing market!

Cons

Long hours! Not the most glamorous office locations to work in! It really is down to you to manage your workload, the management are very delivery focussed and will not tell you to stop working if you don't say. This often results in people getting burnt out which adds a question to how sustainable this career is, but is great for a few years!

Developer - Could Be Worse

Pros

Pwc has a lot of cools benefits, like company smart phones, top of the line tech, considerable budget for learning, they give the entire week off for Christmas/New Year and for the fourth of July. They also have really good bonuses, a pension, 401k as well and the standard medical insurance benefits. Also the office spaces are very inviting, although you can work remotely if you want.

Cons

The cons in PwC vary depending on where you end up working and the role, but generally as a developer you wont feel appreciated, you get over worked (60+) and kiss you weekends goodbye. Your opinion will not be valued and worst of all is that the people making the technical decisions have no idea how development works or do not stay up with the technology, which is ironic since Pwc pays for the training and subscriptions.

Pros

Some good knowledgeable managers/partner who have been there for a while, A great senior, and you have the PwC resume builder to your belt.

Cons

Lets just say that when you go to market team meetings / trainings, you realize how much everything the office lacks. People are very very very petty, dull, clique-ish (A weird clique you 100% will try to not be a part of), and to be transparent, just a staff of weird folk. If you want to be a part of larger teams, a bigger office feel, more interesting clients, and around people that you can trust to not smile in your face followed by a great amount of follow up badmouthing, yeah choose another office. I enjoy Orlando, just not PwC Orlando.
