Overloaded with tasks even during non-peak seasons as we are forced to meet the KPIs. The work groups are fixed where we can only rely on luck to get into a good group while the managers can freely swap around engagements on whatever suits them. Company condones toxic behaviours exhibited by managers (eg micromanaging, passive aggressive attitudes and scolding in the open office), causing fear and pressure to the staff working under them. Offboarding process was so inefficient where the other party took so long to click off items. They drag it to the last minute to approve. I especially want to mention the poor offboarding process done by the IT team. I was told to pay money for an IPhone cable which I didn’t receive and the staff didn’t bother to check on the checklist where I clearly indicated I did not receive it. He further insisted I have to pay and mocked me on why my friends did not help me collect etc. After paying, I showed him I paid and he wanted to see the reference number. He took a picture of the transaction but was unconvinced that there is no reference number. He took my phone with my bank account details and transactions open, he showed it around to his other employees without my consent, invading my privacy and confidentiality. This is such an unprofessional and unethical behaviour. After I returned my assets, he didn’t bother to guide me on how to leave the building as I no longer have access to the doors. It is disappointing to see such things happening in a prestige company like PwC.
