Shift timings are horrible

Pros

1. Salary and Benefits 2. Learning opportunities at work 3. Trainings

Cons

Where to start from? From the toxic mindset and rude behaviour of the senior folks to no work life balance, PwC stays at its peak. If you love yourself, your mental and physical well-being more than some money, do not ever join the DDC team of PwC Kolkata. They will kill you with multiple rotational shift timings as they are a 24/7 serving team who would go to any extent with the employees in order to lick the feet of the US Team. In the 1st and 3rd week of the month, you'll be working in Night shifts (23.00 - 7.30) and in the 2nd and 4th week, you'll be working in evening shift (18 - 2.30). Probably in the next month, you will be shifted to morning & bridge shifts in alternate weeks. One day you'll find yourself drained out mentally & physically out of extreme mental pressure and toxicity at office. So beware, before you join PwC with a dream to be a part of the Big4.

Pros

Great learning opportunities. Great office.

Cons

You are doomed if you met a bad manager. It's pretty tough if they don't know what they are doing.

Pros

- Good benefits - People were nice

Cons

- No clarity on direction and processes - Self-forming teams but no way to escalate issues - Has a lot of work to do in terms of culture towards females in the work place. - You apply for a job role but don't expect to be able to do it, expect to be doing a lot of admin work, asked to write user stories and be a project manager within the company. You'll be asked to do everything except the product manager role you were hired to do.
