Pros

As a new hire associate, they treat you with amazing experiences and opportunities. I was excited about work when I first started and loved everyone I worked with. They mentioned they were flexible in letting their employees explore and try various roles (even if it was in another department) which I was also eager about as a recent grade

Cons

I'm at the two-year mark, and I've seen a different side of PwC. In my current engagement, the team is genuinely rude to each other and talks about other team members' performance on group calls without that team member present. I brought this up to HR about how toxic my team was in the way they talk to each other (literally sometimes screaming matched) and how they talk about each other, and I was told, "People just lead differently." Additionally, I have voiced and actively tried to move departments or at least moving teams for the last eight months and have received little to no guidance or help at a company that claimed to "encourage" movement. your whole pwc experience depends on the roll of a die of what team you get & then you're stuck with them

Pros

There is no micro-managing about the login and log-off time. Flexi work mode- mostly WFH and it depends on the project and location. Decent medical coverage for employee and their immediate family - 20lakh/year and 1lakh for maternity, which is pretty good. Package is always fixed, so you get what you see in the split up. And variable pay is always add on which is also decent.

Cons

It is completely based on my personal experience and its subjective. Managers are way too rude and harsh, and they can bash you right, left and center in front of everyone. Job role may not be well defined and hence we might struggle in the initial days. Work pressure could be intense depending upon client's time line and you might end up working on weekends with no compensation for that. Mostly dominated by north people, and definitely there is no diversity and inclusion, manager are mostly biased. People from down south would definitely feel left out and thats why I also decided to come out. Never in my life i would choose a big4.
