Pros

Awesome people and technology, and should be awesome everything else.. until not so awesome CIO's come in and train wreck the place with no clue of what's really going on. Sad really...

Cons

No matter how good you are, they are always looking to cut costs and make you redundant. It's not a career, it's a learning opportunity and a meat grinder...

Pros

1) Entry level salary for MBA graduates is good

Cons

About IT consulting practice 1)Consulting only for namesake, projects are more about implementation. Dream job if you want to do graduate-level work (Coding) and get post graduate's salary 2)The notice period is 3 months. It doesn't matter if you have work or not company won't give you early release. 3) if you stick with this company too long you will be rendered unemployable. 4) You have to stroke your manager's ego to get a good rating, some managers have a huge ego and they might screw your rating if their egos are bruised 5)Some managers are very aggressive about resources working for them and they don't let resources to move around. So you work on their projects or you are idle

Pros

PTO and other benefits, modern office, intelligent people, some flexibility and freedom to try other LOS, casual dress code, benefits

Cons

Terrible management, this office is an old school boys club all the way. Politics reign and your superiors will stab you in the back while smiling to your face. Expect to receive passive aggressive emails at all hours of the day/night. Favoritism is off the charts, it doesn’t matter what your chargeability or performance reviews say, if the people in power don’t want you promoted you won’t be. This goes both ways too, with highly incompetent people who lack technical ability and/or management skills being promoted. The pressure to “eat” hours is huge because most projects are won with lowball bids. This is the only way for directors/partners to meet their goals. There is no system for upward feedback whatsoever. The pay is pretty bad comparatively, raises/bonuses are below market standard. Lots of restructuring and turnover in HR and other internal services has led to tons of extra administrative (unbillable) hours for staff.
