Consulting firm has deteriorated over the the year, especially in Singapore office
Pros
1) good exposure to MNC clients 2) good work life balance compared to other consulting big 4 and companies (however depends on your project) 3) Good starting pay, however increments, benefits and overall bonuses are below average
Cons
1) Very mismanaged - from changing business model, priorities to absolutely zero communication amongst leadership, absolutely bad change management when it comes to prevention of taking leave, extension of leave and even bonus outcomes when pushed 2) Feels like a horse race, everyone is only bothered about themselves and the project, no real human connection, Culture has deteriorated over the past 3-5 years and is only getting worse. Even culture amongst teams are equally bad, with functional and non functional teams usually not getting along 3) Leaders are not accountable and very easily can put blame on juniors, some leaders are underqualified for their roles with ;ots of politics up top too 4) Very top heavy, absolutely no room for growth for juniors. Some projects may have over 4-5 directors just for the sake of it or to give utilisation. All decisions are usually made by this folks, so as a junior manager you can only action on what they say 5) Firm has also been facing backlash from clients for performance time to time
