Every other friday off is a nice perk. Work 40hours/week. Paid for OT even as an engineer. Good benefits. Laid-back environment.

Cons

No pay raise for most employees this past year, except... Most women/minority engineers are given lots of opportunities to advance and collect salary bumps compared to white male counterparts based on my personal circumstantial experiences. This is a distracting policy. I have seen a lot of talent leave for greener pastures as a result.

- Good benefits - Some jobs have good work life balance (although people are getting more stretched year over year) - Cross functional teams are enjoyable to work in - Job stability

Cons

- Management is out of touch and micromanages throughout the businesses and within the functional matrix - Difficult to find meaningful and challenging finance positions (a lot of positions are centered around report generation and consolidation of data) - Sandbagging is encouraged over accuracy - Have often heard the phrase "people are lucky to have a job" - this has led to a lot of high potentials leaving the company for better positions because they were unable to progress without "putting in their time"
