Pros

-Few top400 managers are very inspiring and committed -Interesting industry -Good brands -Good salaries (if you are in the top management) -Good international opportunities

Cons

-Toxic aggressive old-fashioned culture -Working from home is discouraged -Horrible location, Slough is way too far from central London (and expensive to reach) -Some T400 are really incapable, they have to take the work done by others to survive -Not inspiring CEO -Everything is based on the short term, the company thinks solely to close the quarter

Pros

- large amount of responsability and experience right off the bat - wonderful R&D team, very social site, welcoming and friendly - great vacation policy - interesting brand portfolio - work flexability depending on your team

Cons

- no training or transition period, learn on the fly - titles are a step lower here than at other companies (e.g. an RB Sr. Associate is equivalent to an external manager, an RB manager is an external director, etc.) - the CEO (Rakesh Kapoor) only cares about making money, not the people - as of 2018, only surface deep commitment to sustainability, but getting better

Pros

Some wonderful people working at the Hull site (both Manufacturing and R&D)

Cons

Work / Life balance is none-existent. The business allows you to do more, then takes it for granted that you can do it all the time without being asked. This creates and atmosphere of resentment towards workload and fear of asking for help.
