Pros

1.SAP Global Delivery is an SAP subsidiary. 2.SAP products knowledge and is able to work with foreign SAP subsidiaries and helps oneself to understand their honesty, commitment and no non sense attitude towards work. 3.Good exposure to different technologies.

Cons

Cons in case of Consultants 1.Consultants are branded as C Users and they are treated like slaves at the company. The companies internal employees are called I Users. 2.C Users are not provided an access card so they have to wait till an I-User/Security opens the door so they can go to their work place. Same in the case of rest rooms. 3.C Users are not allowed to have free food at SAP cafeteria like i users. They are provided separate food which is not at all better and is required to pay a huge sum for the same. C Users are denied of SAP transportation even in the case of female consultants. 4.Even if they are the biggest contributors for a particular projects C Users not allowed to attend any project parties in the end and they are thrown off without any consideration. 5.C Users are not allowed to attend any type of office competitions or functions along with i Users of SAP. Even at pantry juice packets and such are only allowed for I Users.

Pros

- Excellent and young work atmosphere; - Lots of learning resources available along with opportunities to value yourself through personal training or certifications; - Possibility of working abroad, in great client companies (if you're lucky!); - Good work/life balance; - It's an excellent company for recent graduates;

Cons

- Hard career progression; - Low salaries; - In practice there is no consultants career plan; - Many consultants stay long periods without projects and then when you get one, it often can be neither interesting nor challenging; - 3 years permanency clause;

Pros

- Willing to invest in exploration of new business trends - Can work there for life if you don't mind never advancing - Pay is relatively high compared to market, mostly because they don't do anything significant with stock/equity

Cons

- Run by Executive Board that generally disagrees on everything or seems to actively avoid making decisions - A select few -- very few -- employees are given the lion's share of new and exciting opportunities - Horrible at promoting women and initiatives to improve the representation of women have token executive support - Everything is done by committee, so anything delivered is watered down and not compelling - Most people spend their day in endless meetings to "align" with several other groups doing essentially the same thing - Many people will join your committee to work on a cool project, but only 5% of them will actually do any work - Works Council in Germany -- essentially a union -- advocates for German employees and has approval authority over promotions, re-orgs, etc. Employees in other countries have no such leverage - American employees will work long hours, European employees generally will not take a meeting after 4p in their timezone and think nothing of asking the Americans to attend meetings at 5a or 6a in the US - Management will bicker over spending $50K on something while wasting Millions on projects that are going no where - Love/hate relationship with Silicon Valley - Will hire you to do a job that you soon discover is actually already done by 3-4 other people in the org - Employees -- even relatively senior managers -- have very little decision-making authority and are actively discouraged from making decisions
