Don't waste your time with this company(SAP ARIBA)
Pros
First time in my career I find such company without any pros. Old timer ruining this company. These guys do not have basic etiquettes . Join this company if you have no self respect and can shift delete your past knowledge and achievements
Cons
1. Lot of politics . 2. Your hike is not aligned to hard/smart work you do . You should be in good book of so called VP/Director to get good hike irrespective of your performance. 3. Openly you will be threaten not to screw your managers rating . 4. Aged old technology (still this company run on server side UI so called AWL and single threaded ORM EO) . No where you will find these technologies are being used. Never gets changed as well till these old timer are here, they are working on these from more than a decade and all talented new joinee struggles and old timer remains relevant. 5. Old timer don't have basic etiquettes, they are not hesitant to pass on dirty personal comments on others . 6. Review(code) process sucks it is another tool for old timers to torture and show their relevance . 7. Service based mentality , even company has work from home and not fix work time . If you exercise your rights you will be in bad book . 8. To remain in good book of your boss, you should hang around people of his choice, visit temple, shouldn't smoke and drink, don't talk much to female colleagues. 9. Everyone in company know what is wrong with old timers but no action can be taken. They just become stronger by everyday. No hope at all. 10. Cons are endless and stopping here, more I think make me more sad and depressed.
