Pros

Casual and for the most part informal culture There was an OK work/life balance Snacks/games/distractions available Weekly happy hours Young and vibrant co-workers Time off is generous both vacation as well as maternity/paternity (SAP benefit)

Cons

Criteria for worker evaluation is not clearly defined. Transparency from management level is almost non-existent Not a great place for minorities (especially at the Management level). This does not apply to SAP as a whole who has a great track record for diversity. Favoritism and "it's who you know" system definitely rules the office. (you will have to actively seek out opportunities in order to "shine". By signing up you automatically start your "brand" which will follow you throughout your time here (will hamper opportunities if it's not considered excellent). People are asked to do a ton with the most minimal of resources (time, staff, etc.)

Pros

Great base salary and overall package. Very nice office close to Heathrow where you get a free lunch. Extremely strong in specific industries, if you get any of those verticals you should at least hit your number. Very loyal customer base.

Cons

I wouldn't recommend taking a sales role in the UK unless you are desperate. The company is struggling to transform itself into "The Cloud" company. Most of the deals are done in Q4 and customers know it. Management play a game where they fire people throughout the year to cover themselves during a weak quarter. If you are in a sales role, you can only take your holiday 6 months out of the year.

Pros

Excellent pay and benefits Leading global brand Office not in Central London, ability to work from home as appropriate

Cons

Salespeople treated as a commodity. Continual disputes about commission due for sales made. You are only as good as your last quarter and sometimes not even that.
