Thanks for your feedback. There's been a lot of progress to deliver One Sage, but there's still more to do as I'm sure you can imagine it's a huge project. Some of the successes to date are the realignment of the Go to Market (GTM) functions and supporting functions - the significant collaboration between Marketing, Technology and Product are critical enablers in supporting our GTM model and ensures we further increase alignment in order to achieve our Sales and Service ambitions. The YourSage intranet portal is now in place, Sage People is being rolled out internally along with X3. The Save & Share Plan has just been rolled out - a significant undertaking, also soon to be launched a new Sage.com. There's also softer initiatives to help teams integrate and grow together - including the global Leadership@Sage programme. Thanks again for your feedback.

Pros

The SMB retail market is there for the taking, nobody has truly capitalized on it. However, it won't be Brightpearl, not with this leadership. The US team *was* full of great people. Not sure how many people even work in the US anymore.

Cons

Leadership, product, bugs, communication, resources, everything. Nobody knows what's going on anywhere. There is no communication between departments, and everybody seems to just do what they want. The product team has no regard for the sales, support, or success teams. No matter how much customers ask for things, you can just about guarantee nothing will happen. The focus seems to be on new bright feature and functions (which are always delayed or never released), leaving bugs and other frustrating issues waiting to be addressed. Accounting is supposed to be the differentiator with Brightpearl. But it's not made for US accounting, so don't expect to fully replace QuickBooks. The leadership clearly does not care about their employees. They will look you in the eye and tell you one thing, turn around and do something completely different. Not trustworthy at all. Can't say you weren't warned.

I was genuinely surprised and disappointed to read this review. The statements made are simply untrue. On this occasion I would encourage anyone considering joining our company to ask pertinent questions as I am confident we can provide the facts which substantiate the complete opposite to this depressing picture. Pros

Overall positive culture and great facilities. Excellent colleague benefits and renumeration package. Good hours of work.

Cons

Confused directional changes. Heavy sales focus at the expense of producing better products. Lacking in implementation of new technologies. Poor Career progression due to cost-cutting overheads (definitely evident in Customer Services).

Thanks for telling us about your experience of Sage when you were here. Really great to hear the culture worked for you and we agree the facilities at Newcastle are great. Work life balance is really importance for us at Sage as we know how colleagues value it, it's great you found this worked well for you. Regarding the changes, thanks for letting us know your feelings, we recognise we could do better in terms of communicating the message. The great news is we are investing heavily in our products and during a recent Sage Live TV we heard about some of the exciting changes to Sage One. We have and will continue to invest in more cloud-based products too. Lots of exciting things happening including new tech hubs in Barcelona and Warsaw. We have lots of great feedback from colleagues about how they have developed their career at Sage - I share Andrew Wilson's story here (see link bellow), but in essence he says “I thrived in this environment, I saw a job in X3 implementation and I pushed myself. This role will open so many doors – with X3 and my CIMA qualification – and now I have an IT and finance background. This benefits me and Sage equally”.
