Pros

There are some great people working @brightpearlHQ (although many have seen the writing on the wall and are leaving/ have left). Decent fringe benefits apart from uncompetitive salaries: flexible working hours, med & dental insurance, good team spirit. Fun social side.

Cons

CEO doesn't deliver on his promises to employees (eg: remuneration and company objectives). Ineffectual senior managers who don't listen to the employees. Stagnant career progression. No investment in the product - CEO is looking to sell up.

Thanks for your feedback. Our learning & development teams have been working together to create a One Sage on-boarding process . Sage Welcome is the new accredited way we will welcome all new hires to Sage, setting them up for a successful career at our great company- this starts with access to the on-boarding portal before you start. It will span the first 90 days of a new colleague's journey at Sage and conclude with an ‘accreditation’ activity, ensuring all new hires are set up for success. Sage Welcome will help new hires understand our strategy, our ambition and how we operationalize this into our organisation, and how their role will play a part in our ongoing success. Colleagues will be introduced to our products, helping them to become ‘product advocates’ early on in their career at Sage. It is interesting you put on-boarding as a negative - it was launched in the Summer, so if you started during the last couple of months and did not experience this we would like to know. Feel free to contact me (lynne.ellis-parker@sage.com). Our people leaders are undertaking the brand new Leading@Sage programme to ensure they give the best support possible to their direct reports. Thanks again for your feedback.
