Pros

Easy sale, we’ll known brand, has kind of iPhone feel - there hasn’t been a ton of innovation but people keep buying, great benefits, unlimited PTO, also emphasis on Volunteer Time Off and giving back. 1% of revenue for example. Product not baked yet but the vision of Data Cloud is the right direction.

Cons

With the new investing partners there is a sentiment that more layoffs, more cuts to benefits, and restructuring is coming. Acquisitions of Slack and others hasn’t panned out. Salesforce is a business first, the coming years will prove that out. It’s about increasing product margin, the stock price, and pushing operating costs to customers, and the employees are simply numbers. The culture is a huge facade and it’s becoming anything but a family/ Ohana. If you’re thinking about joining, just lower expectations. It’s an average job, no different than the next tech company.

Pros

Not many. Nobody makes money, growth by acquisition. Terrible culture. For ever 1 good manager, there's 25 bad ones.

Cons

Make no money, each year they make it harder to make money. No multi-year payout. To many things to list. Just dont work here, you'll learn some, but will hate your life after about 3 months

Pros

Top notch benefits. That is about all.

Cons

Lower than industry avg pay Commission structure only benefits Salesforce Territories are super saturated with under utilized shelf ware Management is on a 1-year campaign tour if best - very transactional culture No territory ownership by your co-primes who just wait for you to usher in the c-level intros Super political - and not just Marc’s outspoken political stance Get ready to google yourself to knowledge as the onboarding is atrocious and entirely virtual
