Pros

You'll get the same money elsewhere.

Cons

- Micro management on steroids - Your time is absolutely owned and not yours. - No work life balance, just work. A workplace so far detached from reality, it's mind boggling! They have created such a sterilised environment, people are afraid to talk, smile, collaborate or even engage others outside of meeting calls for fear of 'non conformance' with policy and procedure. It's devoid of personality and a soulless place, everything is a pretence, claiming to be something it's not. I know this now and I honestly feel like I'm being watched. It's like something from one of those dystopian movies, where worker drones bash away all day, only to repeat the exact same thing again tomorrow. If you ever see the Christian Bale movie Equilibrium - that's what it's like here. Please do yourself a favour and avoid the place. You'll hear 'Trust' is their #1 pillar, which is absolute garbage - "we care for our staff, and their journey, and their life" but hold on while we let thousands of our great people go. It's a sales machine, caring for nothing more than the profit it makes year on year. 20yr old software that needs cute forest animals now to help sell it. It's over priced, over complicated, dated and losing / has lost the battle against competitors who are more agile and able to adapt and implement changes much quicker. I just received a call that I have been successful at another interview. I'm genuinely bursting with happiness (must hide it!!!) and counting down the days to get out of here!!! Yay me!!

Pros

-ESPP -HSA -Benefits -Work with some really great people

Cons

Wow.. Where do I start? As someone who has been here for 4+ years, I've experienced a lot of change. I used to be so proud to work here and now it just feels embarrassing. I can honestly say that as of now I could never in good faith recommend Salesforce as a great place to work (if you are in sales). Everything is up to the patch you get- expect that 1 or 2 people on a team of 7 will have decent patches, and everyone else will be scrapping the barrel. You are required to hit 50k a quarter (which is surprisingly very difficult to do in this market) and if you miss 2 in a row, you will be put on a PIP. However, with that being said, there are people in my org that have been put on plans even though they have hit. Its really your manager's discretion which can be mortifying.. Morale is LOW Salesforce has absolutely NO value for internal promotions. You are paid significantly less than market value. If you are interviewing, the recruiter will tell you you're allowed to log overtime - that's a lie ( went from 50 hours a week to now 43). This place is a revolving door- they are PIPing out the people that have been here for longer, and hiring people with NO SaaS experience because they can get away with paying them significantly less. Unless you are desperate for a job, I do not recommend coming to Salesforce.

Pros

Money was ok, everything else was a nightmare.

Cons

All the positive Glassdoor reviews for Salesforce are the same. That's because they make new employees lie and fill out five star reviews saying they've been there a year during new employee orientation. Ohana is just propaganda. This company is incredibly irresponsible with their customers and you will feel bad every day working here. Read the one star reviews and ignore the identical fake five star reviews.
