Pros

Benioff is a genius. Company is doing fantastic. The sales and marketing groups are top notch. Great stock price. Casual work environment, working from home benefits, in SF.

Cons

I know some departments are really good. I just had this misfortune of working in two of the worst managed departments in the organization. Poor poor management. Dysfunction, Politics, Dis-information, self-delusions. The claim of being scrum is a scam. Gossip and back stabbing rule the day. The worst place I have ever worked.

1) They say Trust and equality is their No 1 value but they dont practise what they preach It has 10 days a quarter policy for all engineering folks worldwide except India We are expected to be in office 3 times more than others. Thanks for the Equality . Now they have started checking the employee badging through their amazing dashboards for managers. Thanks for the Trust . 2) The situation of food court becomes pathetic with lines longer than the ones seen infront of banks during demonitisation times. This is the case when all employeess were not coming to office daily. It takes a good 25 minutes to reach to one counter . God save you if u wish to eat salad along with ur normal meal . God knows what would be the situation with new policy. 4) With management and leadership has started doing more R-Rona . 5)They provide wellness reimbursement of 15k each quarter which you now cant use on fitness stuff or any other equipement. it gets wasted mostly and cant be carry forward . They have removed items which most employees used to buy and use this benefit for. 6) Car lease policy which is a hot ques in every quartely connect , is still neglected saying it not what most employees need. The fact is that the most asked / upvoted ques everytime 7) There is no team outing activities/trips that happen . Only trip that happens which occurs every 3 months is a lunch to a restaurant next to the building. 8)Work is also really boring in certain clouds . Feels like you are maintaining a website .

Pros

Amazing office, amazing colleagues, good salary

I started at the end of 2022 with so much motivation to begin this new professional chapter in an "amazing" company. After a couple of months I realised the complete opposite. I was expecting to promote in March and for three times my panel got postponed until the managers told me that because of the hiring-freeze I had to wait the summer. Let's be clear even a teenager can do this position. Utterly disgusted by all the lies from the managers, and when two colleagues of mine who started after me in SF got promoted first it became crystal clear that something was wrong. Got my probation extended without any warning signs from my manager that was acting annoyed and indifferent during our 1-1s. Retaliation and backstabbing are common behaviours from some people in management roles. Everytime I explained my thoughts and concerns the situation didn't evolve for the better. Very sad from a company that puts "Trust" as their number one value. Your time is completely owned and not yours and they expect you to do trainings and Trailhead when you come exhausted at home. In their eyes you are just a number that needs to bring revenue as much as possible. And even if you do it is still not enough are constantly compared with other employees that are better than you. Remember - "Comparison is the thief of joy" I was so happy my last day to get out of all this hypocrisy!
