Pros

Great salary and benefits. Free snacks and drinks in the break rooms. Many opportunities to give back to the community during work hours and donation matching grants.

Cons

This company's leaders is doing everything it can to ostracize conservative-minded employees and men. If you don't agree with "the company's" political agenda, you had best keep it to yourself or your career will take a hit.

Pros

Good work life balance. You'll never be looked at twice for taking PTO, working from home (within reason), or staying home when you're under the weather. If you're lucky, you'll work with some great people.

Cons

As top talent has increasingly fled, the incompetent engineers have more of a say and presence. And there are a lot of them. Way to many managers and directors compared to ICs. Many of them are more interested in building their 'empires' then the technology or their staff. Outdated technology. The work isn't that interesting, it takes forever to get anything done, and we're constantly swimming around our own technical debt which we never invest time in fixing. Cronyism, politics, and back room conversations run rampant.

Pros

Fast Growing Company Good Products Smart People Great CEO This company probably was a great place to work in the past, but now the territories are being divided up way to much and people aren't making money anymore

Cons

They are hiring Account Executives so fast that managers are promising things that can't be delivered on (ie, Choice Accounts, Low Quota). After quitting your old job and signing on with Salesforce, all of those verbal promises go out the window. Quota isn't as discussed, and all the new Account Execs, regardless of experience get the shrapnel accounts. Salesforce.com sales management will say whatever you want to hear to get you in the door, after that all bets are off. If you come here, make sure you get your quota and territory list in the offer letter. If they are unwilling to do that, walk.
