Pros

- Innovative products and strong R&D team. - Big brand name.

Cons

- Political. - Korean-centric. - Dictatorial management style. - Underqualified Korean expariates stationed at overseas offices to take on mid-level leadership roles. - These business managers has strong power in decision making but bears little responsibility if outcome is poor. Those under them become scapegoats unfortunately. - Appraisal system is flawed, and can be easily influenced by the likings of these business managers. - Incompetent HR that only act according to these Koreans' and head office's instructions, and has little mindshare on the welfare of local employees. - No career development. - High staff turnover.

Pros

Big brand. Good salary and benefit. One of the best tech giant that strive for innovation. Ironically, there's so much wrong within the Company that there's far too much room for improvement.

Cons

In general terrible top management. Too hierarchical, no room for confrontation, practically almost a military career. Not enough care for actual end customers. Either you are Korean or you count less than zero in the relevant decision making processes. Bullish and not interested in understanding business dynamics outside of South Korea or US. Central European and UK offices are located in the middle of nowhere in the Countryside in Surrey, why would a smart young talent go all the way to Surrey when there's London full of opportunities????
