      Benefits - staff purchase, Health care, salary & bonuses

      Cons

      Compared to US/UK companies which almost always work on merit the company works on hierarchy and length of service principals.. which in turn encourages excessive politics, generates limited decision making and extremely short term/ no strategic objectives. Summed up by senior executives having contracts renewed yearly to perform or be moved on!

      Pros

      Amazing technology and passion throughout the organization. In early career, you will gain great experience and understand the drive needed for long term success.

      Cons

      Really tough place as a seasoned executive. The most important decisions are debated and decided in Korean -- you are informed of your actions in English and frequently without rationale. This makes it really hard to calibrate your decisions/recommendations to fit the shifting company priorities.

      Worst company if you are not korean

      Pros

      Nothing at all if non-korean, escape ASAP.

      Cons

      1, racial discrimination. All the chances and resources are korean-first, no matter they are doing the same or less or worse. 2, no work life balance at all, even for their own korean emplpyees. Yet they will enjoy free transport, meals and flat, while foreign employees get nothing. 3, no respect for employees. Always forcing you to work on holiday without OT or compensation. 4.no spirit of contract. Always taking advantage of you and demanding you to do extra works. 5.Poor organization and management in regional area. Lacking internal agreement before making decision.
