Pros
1. Challenging and interesting projects of different kinds: desktop, mobile, web. My favorite were: conversational AI, Medical applications, video and voice communication apps.
2. Opportunity to travel the world: I was working form Bangkok and Barcelona, from Hong Kong and Turkey, yes it is possible :)
3. Strong management team: Ceo, operations, resources are all very professional, you can learn a lot from them and you can always rely on them.
4. Training - they invest in their employees, I was learning Usability testing and got paid for it.
5. Good Salaries - when compared to local rates, remuneration was pretty good and they always pay on time
6. Internal products - Scopic develops a lot of internal applications which is pretty cool as they are tailored to the needs of Scopic and also bring good experience for employees.
7. Strong internal processes - from estimates and spec preparation to clients communication, all processes are established within the company and are working pretty well. Organizational wise company is strong.
Cons
1. This is not something related to Scopic specifically, more to the nature of remote work. If you like it, Scopic will be a great choice but should be comfortable with working via text and audio chats instead of face to face.
2. Another remote work thing is time-management, you have to be able to manage your time productively not to burn out.
