High turn over, especially from senior leaders who have been with the company for years Fear of yearly RIF/redundancies waves Demotions Minimal pay increase, even with promotions people are severely underpaid the market value. They then leave and HR are forced to pay market rate to backfill, instead of just doing pay reviews and retaining staff.
