Pros

Good pay and benefits. Stock is up.

If you're looking for a territorial bro culture where ladder climbers are rewarded for managing up while eviscerating the teams under them, this is the place for you! Sounds harsh, you say? Maybe, but not untrue. Until very recently, ServiceNow had an open, collaborative and welcoming culture. Unfortunately, 2023 brought layoffs that leadership was never transparent about internally or publicly and the general vibe there now is keep your head down and try to hang on or start looking elsewhere. Neither of those options make for a rewarding or innovative workplace.

Great product, good team, lots of support

Cons

Sales Leadership - sales team performing is promoted to sales management roles with no manager skills, lacking basic skills like empathy and self awareness. No skip meetings available. management focussed on looking good rather than genuine care of employee and best outcome for the customer

- OTE - RSUs - "Cameras off" culture offers flexibility in where you take calls - Product - Customers

Cons

- Little autonomy; management has hands in all deals and seems to lack trust in reps' ability to get the job done - Lots of internal red tape and SOPS involvement... simple quotes take 24+ hours to turn around - Poor, outdated internal tech stack (MSFT/Surf/Teams): CRM and quoting tools not up to par, minimal reporting/dashboard functionality, Dynamics/Teams don't hold a candle to SF/Slack, no email cadencing/tracking, no ZoomInfo, etc. - Not much of a team dynamic... little insight into what deals the team is working on, no idea where you rank in NNACV until QBRs, few team events, etc. - Moving targets... EBCs, NLs, pipe gen... focus is ever changing and inconsistent; not given resources to make any of these targets attainable - Major territory shifts YoY
