Pros

- Exciting project - Great people on the team - Manager usually fair - if you have to work many extra hours - potentially get time in lieu (at manager's discretion)

Cons

- Can be stressful at time - Work/life balance can be challenged but see point 3 of Pros as a mitigator

Company on the move - performance based culture

Pros

Passionate customers, great product and a very competent senior leadership team. I was particularly very impressed with Frank on the clear direction he has set to grow the company. Also, there is not a lot of political b.s. and you are rewarded for performance. This may just be me - but I appreciated that management treated everyone like responsible adults that know why they are there and not have soppy posters or other touchy feely initiatives.

Cons

Tends to be overly analytical sometimes and takes a long time to make a decision. This can be frustrating if you know from past experience that something will work but still have to spend a lot of time justifying the decision.

The new normal is mediocrity

Pros

Good package, good solutions, unique vision and positioning, strong leadership, customers still love the product

Cons

Management has now reached standard mediocrity level. Silos everywhere, fighting for their own good. For most, customer is something they don't care about. Internal collaboration has effectively been killed and it is getting more & more difficult to get help. Management does not listen and only care about themselves and their next move. Also, customers are tired of constant pricing changes, the relationship is changing. If you are used to working for dinosaurs such as SAP, HP or BMC, you can join ServiceNow and will not notice a lot of difference.
