Pros

Our motto is "hungry and humble" and that really describes the culture here. There's a culture of collaboration and helping others, I've been here about 4.5 years and I've never been made to feel dumb for asking a question. There are no jerks here, it's truly amazing. I've worked at a LOT of other places and this is by far the best place I've ever worked, I'm planning to work here until I retire. I could go on and on, great leadership, pay and benefits (including stock options), flexibility, opportunities. But nothing beats the culture here.

Cons

It's a challenging job, the bar is high. I also work a lot with folks overseas, they're wonderful but the time difference is a bit of a drag.

Pros

Good salary and perk Health insurance Stocks Nice office Free snacks and drinks if you go to office Job security

Cons

Has become more bureaucratic over the last few years and just turning into another big corporate which is manager heavy. Lack of direction and feel like the inspiration and strategies from the executive team is lost in translation to the lower levels. Lack of innovation and job roles are very vague, you might end up doing admin work only though you are hired as a technologist

Pros

I was a part of platform infra automation QE testing team. There are no benefit of being in the team. It's a production support team.l with 24/7 working expectation. Company is good but my teams working environment is very unhealthy. I have to leave within 6 months due to poor working style of the team

Cons

The project is a disorganised nightmare without any clear-explainable process, impractical team structure and unrealistic expectations. There is no apparent direction at the leadership level and every trivial thing seems to become priority at once creating panic in the team. During my tenure here, it was very difficult for me to identify if I am working in an engineering team or a support team. Maybe engineering and support are treated as same thing here which can be use interchangeably as per convenience. From my perspective, it just a split between too many tiny teams that just passes the buck when something is broken and gets territorial when someone takes action in their area. Besides weekly task allocation and some internal meetings, the team's process is practically non-existent. I hardly have any regular talks with any PM’s/BA’s, architects or developers for the testing tasks I work upon. However, I always leave questions on teams channel in my day which are answered when I am asleep at night so that I can again ask follow-up questions next day. This cycle of questions and answers is called collaboration here. I have a direct manager and dotted line manager to demonstrate my ability to work and juggle with multiple priorities at the same time and to degrade my work life balance in that process. To add to the misery, there are people at management level who are clueless on what QE is about maybe because they don’t have any ground level reality or any first-hand working experience in QE domain.
