Sports Job is super easy if you're quick with the keyboard

Cons

Management Doesn't Invest in Employees Low Career Mobility Hours are sporadic and tough to navigate Pay is terrible - albeit the job is easy. What you're producing for the bottom line is undervalued.

I worked during 4 years as a data scout for Sportradar, going to venues to gather live data on Football, Basketball and Volleyball events. The company doesn't value its scouts at all, and has no consistency in their treatment. The administrators are anonymous and clearly lack of intelligence. In terms of coverage, nothing is communicated to scouts who can from one day to the other see their income divided by 2 or 3 if the company decides not to allocate matches of a particular league anymore. Payment is below peers average.

- International environment, friendly colleagues and work environment - Flexible hours - A lot of responsibility if you ask for it

Cons

- Pay is low - Too much unfocused and spread responsibility on key people. Too many roles in one person. - Extra effort is not acknowledged , no motivation to do a better job - Chaos management: micro management or lack of management, you find both here. - Chaos communication between departments and even in the same office. A lot of time is wasted on bad communication in all shapes and forms.
