Pros

Getting paid every single week!

Cons

Unrealistic sales goals, short staffing results in being left on the sales floor for hours.

Pros

I have a great experience due to the Managers I had. Managers really make the difference at Swarovski. As a full time employee I had full heath benefits and the option of life insurance and a 401K. The sales goals are not horrible and often obtainable. I do actually miss working for Swarovski quite a bit.

Cons

They do not pay very well considering they are a luxury brand, other luxury brands pay much higher than Swarovski. They also have very little room for upward advancement, which is why I left. They run their boutiques with a store Manager, one full-timer, and the rest all part timers.

Pros

Great product, gaining valuable management skills even as a part timer because you work alone, employee discount, the included warranty on the product, decent hourly wage and part timers get vacation hours

Cons

Operations are not efficient at all, low tech company, laughably high sales goals, upper management plays favorites, low foot traffic, no advancement opportunity at store level, staffing is always an issue in the stores because the application process is extensive and difficult This is the strangest retailer I've ever worked for. Other retailers I've worked for, it's all about accommodate the customer. At Swarovski, you can get in trouble for accommodating the customer! if it involves bending the policies. The sales goals were ridiculous in order to make bonus. Honestly I feel like it's because they don't want to pay us a bonus.
