Pros

Working hours are flexible Work from home option Pay is good at the time of joining, but eventually gets stagnant as yearly hikes aren't too impressive

Cons

Most of the VIPs are auto architected, so scope of gaining methodology knowledge is limited Negotiating salary hikes is almost impossible. Career opportunities are not that great No festivals are ever celebrated at work place

Pros

Can offer a wide variety of tasks and opportunities to learn new methodologies. People are very nice and competent, the company itself is very solid and with great work ethics.

Cons

Big semiconductor names have lot of power at times in driving the development causing frequent changes in schedule and priorities. Lot of contractors hired recently and given major tasks, the ones you would expect the permanent employees to take ownership of.

1. Financially sound 2. Treats employees well 3. Does not expect overtime and project schedule is well planned 4. Good exposure to best in class tools and training. Get to work with some of the brightest minds.

Cons

1. May not get to work on key design modules being in india, more critical work is done in US 2. Well established team in key centers so difficult to get good work till you have day 8 or so years of exp 3. Pay is not best in industry. 4. No or rare onsite opportunities 5. Very less cross team interaction
