Pros

Teleperformance (TP) in Jaipur is part of a global business process outsourcing (BPO) giant that provides customer support services to clients across various industries. As someone who has worked with TP, particularly in the Adobe blended chat and call process, I offer this review to help job seekers and professionals understand what to expect from this organization—both the opportunities and the challenges. 🏢 Company Overview Teleperformance is a service-based company operating in the BPO sector in India. It supports a wide range of clients, including tech giants like Adobe, and offers roles in voice, non-voice, and blended processes. The Jaipur branch is one of its many delivery centers across the country, catering to both domestic and international clients. 🧑‍💼 Hiring Process The recruitment process at TP is relatively straightforward but can be time-consuming. Candidates are typically sourced through job portals or can apply directly via the official Teleperformance website. The hiring process usually involves 2–3 rounds of personal interviews, including a Versant test to assess communication skills. While some rounds can be completed online, the overall process lacks time efficiency. Many candidates report waiting from morning until evening to complete all stages, which reflects poor time management during onboarding. One of the few advantages here is that TP is open to hiring freshers. Even candidates without prior experience can secure a job, making it an accessible entry point into the BPO industry. 📚 Training Experience The training phase at TP is a mixed bag. On one hand, it provides a foundational understanding of the tools, processes, and client expectations. On the other hand, the training environment is unusually strict. Employees are not allowed to use pen and paper to take notes, nor are they permitted to use digital devices like mobile phones, tablets, or personal laptops—even during training. This restriction stems from strict client data protection policies, especially for high-profile clients like Adobe. While the training period is relatively relaxed and enjoyable, the real challenge begins once you transition to the production floor. Only after successful completion of training do employees start receiving their full salary.

Cons

📞 Adobe Blended Chat/Call Process The Adobe process at TP has undergone significant changes. Previously segmented departments have now been merged, requiring agents to handle a broader range of responsibilities. This includes managing both chat and call interactions with international clients, often simultaneously. The expectations are high. Agents must maintain strict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as keeping average handling time (AHT) between 10–13 minutes per interaction. During peak hours, you may be required to handle 2–3 chats at once while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. A single mistake can lead to serious consequences, including termination, as Adobe is extremely particular about customer satisfaction and negative feedback. Adding to the pressure, Adobe has introduced a sales KPI that requires agents to generate up to USD 4,500 in monthly sales. This is particularly challenging given that the majority of customer interactions—often 48 to 49 out of 50 in a day—are related to plan cancellations. The disconnect between customer needs and sales expectations creates a stressful work environment. Moreover, upper management, both in Adobe India and the U.S., often fails to acknowledge systemic issues, which further frustrates both employees and customers. 💰 Compensation and Benefits The salary range for agents in the Adobe process typically falls between ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month, which is competitive for the BPO industry in Jaipur. However, the compensation does not always justify the workload and stress levels, especially when considering the unrealistic KPIs and the emotional toll of dealing with irate customers. 📅 Work Culture and Leave Policy One of the most significant drawbacks of working at TP is the lack of consideration for national holidays. Employees are expected to work even on major Indian festivals and national holidays like Republic Day, Independence Day, and Gandhi Jayanti. Leave requests must be submitted well in advance and are subject to approval, which is not always guaranteed. The work culture is highly target-driven, with little room for flexibility or personal time. While the infrastructure is decent and the office environment is professional, the rigid policies and high-pressure expectations can lead to burnout over time. Final Thoughts Teleperformance Jaipur offers a decent starting point for freshers looking to enter the BPO industry, especially those aiming to work with international clients like Adobe. The company provides job stability, a structured training program, and competitive pay. However, it also comes with significant challenges: Time-consuming hiring process with poor coordination Strict training environment with limited learning flexibility High-pressure KPIs and unrealistic sales targets No national holidays and rigid leave policies Limited support from upper management in addressing systemic issues If you're someone who thrives under pressure and is looking for a stepping stone into the corporate world, TP might be worth considering. However, for those seeking work-life balance, empathetic leadership, and long-term career growth, it may not be the ideal fit.
