Pros

Decent pay. Benefits are on par with industry standards. A lot of people work from home which makes it hard to get anything done. No one works on Fridays. You probably can do nothing here and just feed management lies or inflate their egos-that’s how most have survived. Great for those near the end of their career.

Cons

A former good biotech trying to put on big boy pants—lets just say they are far from the big boy pharmas in terms of everything—weak pipeline just enhanced by Shire, mediocre talent, medieval processes and very inexperienced managers. A lot of dead-weight. Not at all impressed with the old Millenium/Takeda folks..the good ones must have left because what remains is appalling. This company will drive away good talent.

Pros

Very nice culture and the products they have are top notch--best in market.

Cons

Even after the purchase of Shire, Poor pipeline while several products are about to LOE. It has become a "layoff company." Not aggressive getting products on managed care. Now, pretty large territories, often solo, competing v other products with teams. Launching products is a huge weakness for the marketing dept. Even naming of new products has been a disaster (ex: Nesina diabetes family of products...3 totally different and unrelated names); (ex #2: one of the rare companies to have needed to change a drug's name post-launch, and Takeda had to do it TWICE!! Kapidex-Dexilant, Brintellix-Trintellix). You must go to the home office in Chicago (now Boston) and training department in order to advance, with very few exceptions. They did away with pensions a few years ago.

Pros

Free coffee, you have some good employees there.Hopefully they can tolerate the regime that’s currently running this facility.

Cons

Worst place I have ever work at. Starting with HR. Not letting you do your job. Placing ride blocks in front of you. High management is setting up unrealistic expectations. Never tell you you are doing a good job.
