Pros

The people are awesome. It is a friendly work environment. I have made many friends working here. There are several fun work functions such as a yearly company picnic where they invested quite a bit including catering! Management also threw an in house party which was also catered. There are many exciting work day events such as barbeques, and coming up a chili cook off with a fun haunted house. The work environment is also a plus because I don't dread going to work every day.

Cons

Every job has its ups and downs. I feel this place is well worth the "downs" at the end of the day.

Pros

• It's a job • Most of my co-workers were great. Misery certainly loves company there.

Cons

• Management - They do not care about their employees in any way, shape or form - They will talk behind your back & label you among themselves - You will be lied to repeatedly - Pretty much non-existent as they are in meetings all day and more worried about keeping their contract than what is going on on the floor. - Your concerns will fall on deaf ears. If you do try to voice a concern, they will take no responsibility and twist your words around to throw the blame back on you - Roughly 8-10 people quit per month and there is no effort to figure out why. They know the morale is low and do not care about fixing it. - There is 0 mentoring, coaching, or leadership • Schedule & No Work/Life Balance - They change the schedule with the wind and do it via an email. You may not even know you have a new schedule until you come into work at the "wrong" time. - Do not expect to ever get out on time, as you need to hand over your work at the end of your shift, and there is usually no one to hand over to (or if you are on night shift, the teams in Asia first will need to scrutinize every aspect of your work before they take it), so you will be staying late waiting either way. - You cannot have your phone on the floor and you only get a 30 minute lunch. It is extremely difficult if you have a family or anyone you need to check in with. Also don't make any plans for at least 1.5 hours after your shift ends in case you are stuck staying late. • The company Tek Experts supports: They care even less about us than management does. They will come visit and then tear your work apart, even if you are a good worker. Again, management will not stick up for you with them. • Low pay, and the owner himself said he would not give us raises • The working conditions are poor. The room is extremely loud and you are within a couple of feet of about 8 of your fellow coworkers. It is hard to hear your customer on the phone or focus on your work. • No room to move up - The Lead position is not compensated, though there is talk of a whopping .50 cent incentive. More work for no extra money. - Any promotions that come up go to the management favorites. You will have to get in the long line of succession to move up and make a dollar more, or even to take a pay cut. • Barely any sick time, and then they are not even a little understanding if you actually get sick, or have children that are sick. • PTO isn't great. They will also approve your vacations and then take back the approval weeks or months later after you've booked everything. • No company culture. They put an emphasis on their culture during the interview, (one of the many lies they tell you there), but once you get in the door, there is none unless you are on the side that gets weekends off and hour-long lunches. If you are on the ~other side, tough luck. You will be working at least one weekend day, and you only get a 30 minute lunch. Company events will happen while you're at work and you aren't allowed to attend unless you switch shifts with someone else or use PTO.
