      Pros

      -They have the best Datawarehouse in the business -They have some really smart people -They just got viable cloud solutions up and available -They are moving away from hardware as the driver People talk about layoffs, and I have heard of them from 2nd hand sources. I can say that most of the people I respect in the organization are still here, and that I personally got a promotion in the last review cycle.

      Cons

      -CIOs are afraid to invest in DWH infrastructure, as the industry rags have convinced them Hadoop will replace everything. The prospect is dubious, but the impact is real. -People are starting to think of TD as "old technology" in the valley. It's kind of like trying to sell the F-22 Raptor to a client who thinks drones are the future. -Gut HR -It is a catch-22 to get your consultants first hand Hadoop experience.

      Pros

      Good technology and leader in the business sector, with highly talented and dedicated employee. Be able to deliver on customer wishes and maintaining high level of user satisfaction.

      Cons

      Relatively lower pay scale, and management changed for the past couple years costing billions of dollars in the wrong acquisitions. Over spending in sales/marketing with little to none increase in the R&D of the core business, which led to being the leader in the industry, the company is becoming a follower.

      Pros

      Teradata has hands in many technology and has many big names in his basket gives you opportunity to learn a different technologies and gives you chance to make your resume heavier.

      Cons

      you wouldn't even know if you have management over your head (HR department). Salary hikes are the lowest when compared to i have ever heard of. No Grouping of people , no team building activities. You have to learn yourself and work on your own . No support from senior people. They are very insecure about their jobs and would not let out a thing when asked.
