      Pros

      Great people, good culture and a sincere interest on the individual and their social concerns. Quality of life was an important part of their culture.

      Cons

      Executive management lacked the ability to spot trends and act upon them in an effective manner. Compensation was low and the ability to grow in career was limited due to legacy NCR associates everywhere.

      Pros

      Excellent work-life balance. Nice coworkers and managers. Good industry reputation. Good food and snacks. Nice comfy office.

      Cons

      Teradata built world-class database warehouse products over its lifetime, but hasn't done so for years and missed the transition to cloud database. Now playing catch up with Amazon and Oracle. No proper integration between Teradata and its acquisitions. High attrition as employees do not see any real strategic vision. Lots of talk about transformation but no real ideas. Benefits average.

      Pros

      Great products and exceptional people on the ground doing some brilliant stuff. Top quality technical consultants.

      Cons

      Company in transition. That has exposed cracks in the management in the form of weak old-timers that have been assigned this task but are incapable of delivering and in majority of cases, grossly lack leadership qualities. They are more concerned of riding out the journey to their retirement where their jobs are safe, rather than what's best and needed to take the employees as a team through these difficult times. The talent is just creeping out from the organisation for better pastures.
