Pros

Absolutely nothing at all. This is not a real job, but a scam to get free labor.

Cons

Unqualified leads, straight commission, mandatory unpaid sales meetings, made no money at all in 2 months (which violates labor laws), deceptive business practices, design consultants expected to lie and deceive to get sales, sales numbers counted even if the customer is not qualified for credit and the design consultant does not get paid, which is deceptive to new employees, too many design consultants hired and not enough leads to go around, no mileage or gas reimbursement, prices double what the customers get in store for brand new cabinets, training is not complete and only focuses on one call close, high pressure tactics. You are not given a weekly schedule, but only know whether you have work for the day at around 6-7 am, which makes it impossible to plan your life around this job. Leads are only given to the sales manager's buddies, which equates to anyone who treats him like he is a god. Consultants expected to spend time in Home Depot Stores for free to try to get leads. Meanwhile, they are required to wear a Home Depot apron, which causes them to constantly be asked for help from customers. In other words, design consultants are free labor.
