They actually keep track of how many cards you did or did't get each week and this is factored into whether you get a raise. Also, at the Ankeny IA store men get away with so much more and are not held to the same strict standards as the female cashiers. I have repeatedly seen the male cashiers lounging around texting on their cell phones while working at a register and management looks the other way, but if a female cashier isn't standing in exactly the right spot she gets admonished for it. Management is all men and there is a bro code they adhere to in that the men can do no wrong.
